I’m Benjamin Yaski, the owner of BenG Design. I started working with Adobe Photoshop in 2006. I found myself being keen on doing digital photo editing, this being the reason why I started digging deeper into expanding my knowledge. To do so I’ve watched more than a hundred tutorials a day. As time went by I was able to do the editing work on my own too. As I haven’t seen many Hungarian tutorials on the use of Photoshop I decided to a start a channel on this.

In my secondary school years, my I.T. teacher noticed my work and with her support I attended many national and international competition with great results.

In February 2010, I attended my first international competition, the Junior Internet, at its Hungarian leg. I finished at the 2nd place at 3 different categories.
In December 2010, I started at the <19 Szabadfogású Számítógép competition in Budapest, where I’ve been placed with one of my graphics. The picture was exhibited at Fuga (Architectural Center of Budapest).
In March 2011 I attended the Junior Internet competition again, but this time I took home victory in the Junior Design category. With this victory I could take part of an international conference in Wroclaw.
In 2012 I won the Logo competiton announced by the KenGuru fashion company.

In this same year László Kajtár the owner of photoshopsuli.hu asked me to be a co-editor to his page.

I bought my first DSRL camera in 2014 because I’ve been in love with photography for a long time. As with the basics of Photoshop I learned the basics of photographing from books and tutorials too with loads of practice of course. I started using Adobe Lightroom too as this is a part of digital photography.

A few years ago vector editing (Adobe Illustrator) and web page editing and designing (Adobe Muse) got my interest. The knowledge I already had could gave me a great amount of help.

From the spring of 2018 I’m attending workshops hosted by Google to ensure my knowledge is up-to-date. I’m also taking many different online courses.
